What is the difference between an original and a print?

There is only 1 original artwork but many prints can be sold of the same artwork.

An original painting/drawing is the unique artwork made with original materials : artist paint, canvas, pencil, etc.

A print is a reproduction of the original artwork using a professional artist scanner or photograph to make the artwork available to a wider audience. While the original artwork has a unique price and size, a print offers an additional option for art collectors to purchase the same artwork at a different price bracket.

How do you set your prices?

Prices are a direct reflection of the high quality of the artwork but also take into account effort/time spent in production and fulfilment which involves printing, framing, packaging, shipping and handling.
 
We also include include sales taxes in the product offering according to laws and regulations of Canada, where the business is registered.

Yes. The security of our users' sensitive data is of extreme importance to us and we are 100% committed to protecting it. PCI Compliance helps to create a secure environment by improving the quality of the cardholder data in order to reduce the rate of credit card fraud cases. In addition, it ensures that the data for each payment is stored securely in a tamper-proof manner.

Estimated delivery times may vary between 3-14 business days. This doesn't take into account the time to process your order before it is shipped. Because I use a third party shipping service, shipping times may be affected by reasons outside of my control.

We suggest you use a physical address instead of a PO Box address to ensure smooth delivery.
 
The shipping cost will be calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and items in your order.

Any additional payments required by your country should be handled by you. You can visit your country's customs website for details on how your package will be handled and if any additional delays could be applicable. I do not take any responsibility for additional payments or delays resulting from customs / import handling.

I require an initial 25% non-refundable deposit to begin a commission work. The rest of the balance is due upon completion. Payment plans after the deposit is received can be discussed on an individual basis.

My prices reflect the quality of my work. You will be asked to pay the full price provided to you before the work starts. Discounts are seasonal and clients can take advantage of them when they are available.

Are your collectors involved in the creative process?

Yes. I enjoy collaborating with my collectors. I will share my progress with you periodically. You get to see the completed work before you make your final payment.

What are your refund/exchange policies?

The involvement of the client in the creative process is to ensure that the final piece is satisfactory to both the artist and the client. Due to the quality of the artwork and time invested in completing it, there is a no refund or exchange on commission work.

If your package was damaged during shipping, please contact us at info@aratsbystella.com within 3 weeks of receiving your package. We will open a case with Canada Post and once the issue is investigated, a store credit will be assessed.

When will I receive my artwork?

Details about the duration of the work will be discussed during your ordering process. I may work on multiple artworks at the same time therefore my availability may be affected. I am located in Toronto Canada and depending on your shipping address, delivery/shipping time will vary.

I would love to showcase all my work. However, it is up to you to provide your consent to have your artwork published online.

What happens to my photographs once the artwork is completed?

I take privacy very seriously and handle personal information with the utmost care. The photographs you send are used solely for completing your commission work. Once the final product has been delivered with satisfaction all files are destroyed.
 
In cases where you give authorization to be featured on my online platforms the artwork will be posted accordingly.
